My Story
Sewing runs in in my blood my early passion carried on from when I was very you through high school and beyond. I sewed my own clothing, including her prom dresses — and that never left me.
About 10 years ago, frustrated by the lack of quality in store-bought bags, I turned my focus to making quality handbags that were classic and that I knew would last, so in September 2021, encouraged by the people who loved my work most, I took the leap and launched Squires Canvas Creations at a local market.
Heathered Hues of Spring
Spring colors arrive like a gentle promise. Soft blush, tender sage, airy sky blue, and buttery yellow awaken the senses after winter’s hush. They whisper of good things to come—of longer days, warm summer breezes drifting through open windows, and gardens just beginning to bloom. These hues feel like possibility itself: light, hopeful, and quietly joyful.
In the woven textures of Harris Tweed®, those spring tones take on even deeper meaning. Flecks of heathered lavender, moss green, and sunlit gold echo the landscapes from which they’re inspired—rolling hills, wildflowers, and shifting skies. The rich, layered hues evoke that first kiss of warmth on your skin, when the chill finally lifts and the world feels new again. This is what I have always wanted. The pouch is well made. I know I will have it for years to come. It feels good and sturdy. Don’t have to worry about any “jingling” while I’m in attendance at a real quiet place. It’s a good accessory. I guess it’s just a “guy” thing for me.

I love my new leather pinch pouch. I needed to find something small and secure to hold my custom made musician ear plugs. The Leather Pinch Pouch fits he bill perfectly. It's the perfect size for the ear plugs plus an additional set of filters. It fits nicely into my small concert pouch and is made of really nice leather. I got it at a really great price. It still smells so good too!

I purchased my bag at the holiday market along with a crossbody strap to allow me to use it in that way. The chain strap was too long and unadjustable so I contacted Karen. I asked if there was an option for an adjustable leather strap and she made one for me and met up with me to do the exchange. Thank you!!
