I love working with vibrant, artist-designed canvas from Rifle Paper Co. and Cotton + Steel—two of my favorite textile houses known for their bold, expressive prints and timeless charm. Their fabrics bring a pop of personality and joy to each piece, making every bag feel like a little work of art.

For structure and durability, I often pair these prints with Army Duck canvas—a heavyweight 100% cotton fabric that balances strength with a soft, pliable hand. It’s the perfect foundation for everyday bags that are both beautiful and built to last.

I also work with waxed canvas, including the remarkable Hybrid Waxed Canvas from Halley Stevensons of Scotland. Known for over 150 years of innovation, their hybrid finish offers the performance of waxed canvas without the sticky feel or waxy residue—resulting in a dry, refined texture that resists water and wears beautifully with age.
