Meet The Barra.

For this first version, I wanted to create the ultimate "all-weather" luxury bag. I’ve paired Halley Stevensons Hybrid Waxed Canvas (the gold standard for durability). I’ll be honest—I wasn’t 100% sure about the Barleycorn when I ordered it, but the moment it arrived, I fell in love. The classic look and those hidden flecks of color in the weave are just stunning. 

I made a specific design decision to place the D-ring connectors to the top of the bag, I prefer the look, but more importantly, it helps the bag hang perfectly and adds extra longevity to the strap connection.

Barra is named for the island in the Outer Hebrides, Scotland.  Barra is covered in history, with no sight more dramatic than Kisimul Castle – the famous 'castle in the sea'. The seat of Clan Macneil was built around 1039 and sits on a rocky island just off Castlebay.
