This Piece is made from handcrafted of Harris Tweed® from the remote islands of the Outer Hebrides, where it is locally called Clo Mor (Gaelic for ‘The Big Cloth’).  Fun fact, it is the only fabric in the world governed by its own Act of Parliament and the only fabric produced in commercial quantities by truly traditional methods.

Harris Tweed® has a rare character and beauty. Hundreds of distinctive patterns have been developed over centuries, each one unique, but unmistakably Harris Tweed®.  There is an extensive catalogue of designs from an array of plain twills, traditional herringbones to more complex plaids as well as fresh, unconventional and contemporary patterns. I love how soft, colorful, sustainable and adaptable it is while maintaining the heritage of practicality and longevity; it is truly a luxurious fabric. Pairing Harris Tweed® with a veg-tanned leather adjustable strap allows for seamless wear as a crossbody, shoulder bag, or sling.
